The Tough Mugu is a beastly trail run with the most epic views. This classic 25k and 10k trail run offers competitive runners and outdoor lovers a chance to experience some of Southern California's finest coastal mountain trail running courses. Welcome to Southern California's oldest 50k and original Bulldog Trail Run. With $4,500 in prize purse on the line, this infamous race returns for year 34 in the Santa Monica Mountains challenging event the best. The course offers epic views of untamed terrain and the endless Pacific ocean from ancient sandstone rocks and oak grove forests. Step up to the trails, tackle a 50k, or crush your past times at the Bulldog Ultra 25k and 50k.

SoCalTrail returns to Topanga Canyon for the Red Rock Rumble Sunset Run. September is sunset season in southern California!! So, get ready for a quad-burning, glute searing and ego breaking 10k among the red rocks of Topanga. Race the setting sun for the most beautiful views and post-run celebration under the oaks in this unique mountain community just outside LA. Tucked away in magnificent Red Rock Canyon, this hidden gem has it all from steep uphills, epic views, a descent to the finish like no other, and even an incredible singletrack section!!
